About the brackets
Wizards introduced the five-bracket Commander framework in 2024 to replace the old 1-to-10 "power level" scale that nobody agreed on. The brackets describe how a deck is built and what it's allowed to do — not how good the pilot is. Exhibition is janky and themed; Core is precon-equivalent; Upgraded is focused mid-power; Optimized is high-power with game-changers; cEDH is tournament-tier.
The quiz asks about the stuff that actually differentiates the brackets — your tolerance for tutors, fast mana, mass land destruction, and compact combos — and averages them into a single number.
